The Clover effective inventory management system updates the Web Dashboard and all of your Clover devices. Keep the stock level where you need it.
The Easy Label app enables you to print barcode labels for products. The app automatically generates barcodes. These barcodes are loaded into your inventory software for proper inventory management.
Barcodes provide sale, pricing, or inventory information that doesn’t need to be manually entered when using a barcode scanner. Barcode scanners reduce human error and improve efficiency. Barcode scanners are compatible with Clover Duo and Clover Mini devices.
You can do all of your inventory work on the Web Dashboard and Clover devices. You can use a spreadsheet to add many items at the same time. In the Inventory app, at the top right, click Import Inventory. Click Choose File. Select the .xlsx file on your computer and click Open. Click Import from Excel. Click Save.
Use the Inventory app to add items with variants to your merchandise inventory or restaurant menu. Item variants give you multiple variations of a single item. You can add items with variants on Clover devices, and edit them later on a Clover device or the Web Dashboard.
You can export a spreadsheet in .xlsx format (Excel) to see all your inventory item details. If you haven’t added items to your Inventory yet, the exported spreadsheet has column headings, but no entries (this is useful when adding new items for the first time, as it provides you with a template). .
To export your inventory to a spreadsheet: On a web browser, log in to the Web Dashboard. Click Inventory. Click Export Inventory. If prompted, save the file to a convenient location on your computer. Otherwise, look for the file in your Download folder. The template file is named inventory-template.xlsx and the exported file name is inventory.xlsx.
The tax rates can be set up from the tax rate worksheet. On this worksheet, add a new row for each new tax rate. Make sure you set only one tax rate as the default.
Modifiers can be added easily in the inventory app. You can set the modifiers to appear, or pop up automatically when an order is taken, and adds an individual price for each item.
By default Clover tracks stock quantities for you. If using the Shopventory app, it lets you know before you run low with condition-based alerts and minimum and maximum stock levels by location. Always have enough inventory to meet customer demand.
